Course Objective:
Our course is designed for people who provide guidance in the area of work health & safety. Job roles and titles vary across different industry sectors, however job titles relevant to this qualification include:
- Senior Management Team Leaders
- Work Health and Safety Advisor
- Line Manager
- Supervisor
- HSE specialist/officer
The course is delivered in a participative, advance and updated knowledge about 5S and Safety Worplace and gives participants the confidence to apply solutions to a defined range of unpredictable problems, to analyses and evaluate information from a variety of sources.
Training Method:
The course materials will be presented in English language and Vietnamese (if require). Participants are provided with course handout materials which include the following:

Our collaborative and stimulating training delivery provides participants with a number of opportunities to develop their practical skills in a supportive learning environment. It also enables individuals to complete assessment tasks during the classes, which contributes to our excellent completion rates.

Introduce to 5S and Workplace safety
- Overview of 5S principles
- Link between 5S and safety
- Benefits of implementing 5S for safety
Module 1: Sort (Seiri) – Organization and Elimination of waste
- Definition and objective of Sort
- Identifying and eliminating unnecessary items
- Creating a clutter – free, safer workplaces
Module 2: Set in Order (Seiton) Efficient Arrangment
- Definition and objective of Set in Order
- Workplace layout and visual management
- Organizing tools and materials for efficiency and safety
- Establishing ergonomic workstations
Module 3: Shine (Seiso) Cleaning and Maintenance
- Definition and objective of Shine
- Regular cleaning and maintenance practices
- Preventing safety hazards due to dirt and debris
Module 4: Standardize (Seiketsu) Establishing Consistency
- Definition and objective of Standardize
- Developing standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Creating documentation for 5S process
- Ensuring 5S practices align with legal requirements
- Ensuring consistent safety practices
- Key performance indicators (KPIs) for 5S performance
Module 5: Sustain (Shitsuke) continuous Improvement and Culture

- Inspection, auditing and monitoring 5S practices for Safety
- Addressing challenges and obstacles in maintaining 5S practices.
